A note from
the race director:

Thank you for visiting the official website of the Mali Miracle Tree Run 2009.

Mali is a country plagued by frequent drought and insufficient food supplies. An astounding 64% of people live below the poverty line. The Mali Miracle Tree Run is an initiative to invite and encourage the citizens of Mississauga to join together to help the hundreds of communities living in poverty in Mali.

In support of World Vision's Sustainable Community Development Project, our primary goal is to raise $10 000 for the planting of 80 Moringa Trees in Mali. This goal can only be achieved through your support.

Join us September 19, 2009 at Erindale Park in Mississauga for our 5 km fun-run or our 1 km family walk-or-run to help us reach our goal. Please visit the race information links for more details regarding the race and the endless benefits of the Moringa Tree.
